Full or Part-Time Support Needed
Full or Part-Time Support Needed Seeking part- or full-time care & educational support in our Troy home for my 6-year-old son diagnosed with autism.  He currently attends a mainstream kindergarten class with special education supports, but he seems overwhelmed in his current classroom environment and is struggling in all areas of his life as a result.  This position would basically serve as a home-school educator and care provider for him for the remainder of the school year (maybe longer), as well light household duties.  The position could grow to assume more responsibilities, such as taking him to appointments, if mutually agreed upon.  I am fairly flexible on part or full time (we can discuss), but on the agreed-upon  weekdays that you would be working with him, you would be with him from early morning to late afternoon/early evening.  He is a bright, outgoing, fun-loving little boy who has recently experienced several deaths of those close to him, an interstate move, and other significant turmoil in his life.  He needs a little time to regroup while staying on track academically.  Reliable transportation is a requirement, as is the willingness to care for him if he happens to be sick on a day you’re scheduled to be with him.  If interested, please send an email to momto.willy@yahoo.com with your credentials/resume and availability (days and hours available, and when you’re available to start).
