David Tindall - Director of
Development
Dave Tindall rejoined the SEHS in 2011 as the director of development.
As the Director of Development, Dave works
with alumni and donors to raise scholarships for graduate and
undergraduate students, research support for faculty and student
projects, and endowments to support the School’s Centers of Excellence
such as OUCARES, Galileo Institute and Study Abroad Initiatives.
Dave is excited to meet SEHS alumni - Pioneers and Grizzlies - and

Shelly Garretson - Development Assistant
Shelly Garretson has been a key part of the SEHS Development Office since 2006. Shelly provides exemplary service to our donors and friends whether it is helping them make a gift or communicating important details, our supporters can know their interaction with Shelly will be a positive one. Shelly’s most important contributions to the School include her involvement in the annual SEHS Leadership Celebration and her involvement on the commencement of the now annual Film Premier for OUCARES. She particularly loves connecting student scholarship recipients with our scholarship donors, but no matter the need, Shelly will be pleased to assist you.

Avni Thomas - Development Project Manager
Avni joined the Development team in 2007, after graduating from OU’s Public Administration program. She coordinates the stewardship for the School, supports faculty and staff in grant writing, manages the SEHS Scholarship and Endowment Committee, and assists in the annual Leadership Celebration.
