Mark Doman received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Prior to joining Oakland, he had 25 years of business experience with Ford and AT&T, where he held various executive positions in human resources, labor relations, and sales and service operations.
He led several major organizational change initiatives throughout his career that included employee involvement, quality circles, TQM, Six Sigma, process reengineering, ISO 9000 and corporate restructuring. He is a member of the Michigan State Bar Association and involved in the sections Labor and Employment Law, and Arts, Communication, Entertainment and Sports.

Shannon Flumerfelt, Ph.D., is an associate professor at Oakland University. Previously, she worked in public school administration and teaching, which included leadership development initiatives, restructuring schools with the Coalition of Essential Schools’ principles and other various change issues.
Her scholarly interests include organizational/leadership development and technology, in which she has published and presented. She is the editor of the E-Journal of Organizational Learning and Leadership and writes a monthly editorial for the weLead Online Magazine. She also coordinates an online graduate educational leadership degree program and was recognized as OU Educator for innovative programming showing measurable results in raising student subject enthusiasm and achievement.

Sankar Sengupta currently is a faculty member in the Electrical and Systems Engineering Department at Oakland University. He earned a B.S degree in mechanical engineering from I.I.T. Kharagpur in India, an M.S degree in industrial engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Ph.D. in industrial engineering from Clemson University.
He has more than 12 years of work experience in the process industry. His research interest includes modeling and analysis of manufacturing/service systems, quality control, application of Lean principles in a manufacturing/service system, production planning and control, and modeling and analysis of a supply chain.
He has published technical papers in refereed journals and presented technical papers in international conferences. He is actively involved with the industry to establish a strong tie between OU and local partners. He is a member of IIE, ASQ and SME.
Robert Van Til, Ph.D.

Dr. Van Til earned his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University. His academic interests focus on the modeling and control of manufacturing systems as well as digital control theory. He has been involved in joint research and educational projects with companies such as DaimlerChrysler Corp., Ford Motor Co. and Fanuc Robotics Inc.
In addition, he received funding for several projects from the National Science Foundation. Dr. Van Til has served in visiting positions at universities in the Netherlands and Australia.
