Ali S. Arbab, M.D., Ph.D.
 Ali S. Arbab received his M.D. from the Institute of Post-graduate Medicine and Research in Bangladesh and his Ph.D. in radiological science from Yamanashi Medical University in Japan. He served as senior medical officer at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine in Bangladesh and was in charge of the Nuclear Medicine Division at Yamanashi Medical University. Dr. Arbab completed a research fellowship in cellular magnetic resonance imaging at the National Institutes of Health. He is currently associate scientist and the director of the Cellular and Molecular Imaging Laboratory, Department of Radiology, at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Mich. His research interests include differentiation of glioma from radiation injury, cell mediated gene therapy, changes in tumor vascular permeability, SPECT technology, stem cell biology and optical imaging.
