Summer Workshop

The School of Engineering and Computer Science sponsors an exciting, intensive workshop for students who have completed their freshman, sophomore, or junior year of high school. During this program, you will explore the fields of engineering and computer science and: 
  • Create an independent design project using state-of-the art technology
  • Learn from professors from the School of Engineering and Computer Science
  • Compete for Oakland University scholarships ranging from $1,000 - $5,000
  • Explore campus and meet other students interested in engineering and computer science
Sunday, July 20 through Friday, July 25, 2014

This is a residential program, and students are strongly encouraged to stay on campus throughout the duration of the program. Students who choose not to stay on campus will attend from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day. There will also be a special reception and awards ceremony for parents on Friday, July 25, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Participation fee: The School of Engineering and Computer Science is offering scholarships for 50 students to attend this workshop.

Housing fee: $100. We strongly encourage students stay on campus for the duration of the workshop.
