Honors College students are invited to explore the many graduate programs offered at Oakland University. Over 120 doctoral, master’s and certificate programs are available, and as an Oakland University graduate, in The Honors College, you can gain advanced admission into the Grad School here at Oakland University - where a great many world-class opportunities exist in a wide range of subjects.

The Honors College can also assist you by discussing and helping you to develop your graduate strategy regardless of the path you are following. Both The Honors College thesis preparation course (HC390) and The Honors College thesis can be tailored to be a platform for entry into the world of work or graduate school, with a thesis topic designed by you, with the support of The Honors College Dean and your Faculty mentor

STEM disciplines are important to the economic recovery of Michigan,
and Oakland University has several programs in the STEM areas:

The School of Education and Human Services offers master’s and
doctoral degree programs in reading, special education, early
childhood education, counseling and educational leadership.

Professional doctorates are offered in both physical therapy and nursing.
