DESCRIPTION
This Honors College Public Speaking course will be looking at presentation as the ability to incite social advocacy. The crux of the course will be delivering speeches/presentations on non-profit organizations or areas of need within the Metro Detroit complex. The course will also have a service learning/group presentation component where the students will serve an organization that aligns with the ideals they have selected to want to aid. A formal presentation will be the cornerstone of the course and will be accompanied by a variety of student created media.
