Stem cell research leads to conference presentation

Afton Turner, a student from the University of Central Lancashire, England, spent six weeks at Oakland under the tutelage of Dr. Rasul Chaudhry, an OU faculty member, co-director of the Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine and a lead organizer of the conference. In each place, the student tour met with officials who gave talks regarding the role of their institutions, challenges that lie ahead, and current issues, including the Euro crisis.
