Application Process

1. MATERIALS - Prepare the following and post onto a website you have constructed (such as on weebly, shutterfly or a similar platform) email Dr. O'Mahony with your website URL to indicate that your application is ready for consideration.

An explanation (no more than 200 words) of how you represent the demographic diversity of the Detroit Metropolitan Statistical Area.
A letter of reference from a friend or family member regarding your ability to represent OU/MI/USA well as a house guest in someone’s home.
Your resumé.
A copy of your official university transcript.
A letter of support from a university faculty member or a school administrator that attests to your excellent communication skills and leadership potential in your community’s schools.
An example of a resource you have created for teaching, or annotated lesson plans or units you have taught.
An electronic presentation (i.e. Youtube style – no more than three minutes) of your reasons for wanting to participate in this Group Project Abroad.
