DESCRIPTION:  OUCARES Bowling League is for individuals 16+ yrs on the Autism Spectrum to have the opportunity to bowl in a supportive and controlled environment.  No experience necessary!  Social participation will be encouraged to help participants develop friendships in a community setting.  Overall well-being will be enhanced as they perform a physical activity, resulting in better fitness for healthier living.  Emotional well-being will be fostered as they build self-esteem and confidence in a positive, supportive environment.  The parent/caregiver will need to remain with the bowler if one on one assistance is required.  There will be a 3:1 ratio of staff to bowlers.  This program is made available through the generous support of the Autism Society of Oakland County and the Autism Society of Macomb/Saint Clair.

AGES:  16+ yrs...no experience necessary!

OAKLAND COUNTY - LEAGUE AT CLASSIC LANES 
DATES:  Saturdays, July 13 - September 7 (no session August 31)
TIME: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
LOCATION:   Classic Lanes
                         2145 Avon Industrial Drive
                         Rochester Hills, MI 
COST:  $45/person
                     Price includes 2 games each week, bowling ball and shoes rental, and an awards ceremony (with pizza!) at the end of the season.
