Communication & Interpersonal Skills
Graduates are expected to demonstrate interpersonal skills that facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and other members of the health care team. The student will have demonstrated the ability to:

IC1. Listen attentively and effectively to patients, patients’ family members, colleagues, and members of the healthcare team.

IC2. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families, using appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
