The board of trustees must officially accept gifts before it becomes property of Oakland University. In order for them to do this, there are procedures put into place to streamline this process. This process is documented in the Gifts, Pledges, and Grants policy.
The Advancement Services is responsible for the Advancement module in Banner. As such, we have strict guidelines for information requests and how that information shall be used.
