This Faculty Learning Community will focus on educational research. The purpose of the Learning Community is to develop faculty’s awareness and enhance their skills in applying different educational research methods and techniques to conduct educational research, to offer a venue for faculty from different disciplines to explore opportunities to collaborate in identifying and experimenting with new teaching methods and conducting evidence-based educational research for the purpose of enhancing the quality of the faculty teaching practice and improving the student learning process and outcomes. The community will also serve as a forum for faculty to interact with each other, to share expertise, effective instructional strategies, and learning activities, and to discuss concerns or issues related to teaching and learning among faculty from multiple disciplines.  For more information please contact Misa Mi at mi@oakland.edu.
