Vi Hart's Blog - April 2013 Vi Hart ( Victoria Hart) calls herself a “Recreational Mathemusician” or someone who demonstrates mathematics as seen through her creative or musical mind. She
creates fantastic, fun and educational videos to explain and
demonstrate concepts such as mobius strips, Fibonacci numbers, measuring
angles, prime numbers, geometry proofs, and much more. Her lively
“think-aloud” narrations provide not only explanation, but questions and
ideas to ponder which will inspire young math and science learners and
they watch the short, fast-paced videos. Vi has recently joined Khan
Academy, but she still maintains her own site. Along with math videos,
she also creates musical instruments, writes music and stories,
demonstrates beadwork, and creates mathematical models by twisting
balloons.
