Shared Data Training on PortAdm
If you will be changing names and addresses, or other Shared Data elements, on Banner, you will need to take a training course and pass a short examination.  This training is available through the University's PortAdm system.

Log in with your NET ID (email name and password)



Then select Shared Data Training



Note: If you do not see the Shared Data Training link, please contact Dana Pierce at dpierce@oakland.edu to be added to the resource.

Once you are in the Shared Data Training course, you will be able to navigate through the training materials at your own pace.  Once you feel comfortable, you can open and take the Shared Data Exam, which you will need to pass with a score of 80% or above.  You will get two chances to take the exam.



Once you have passed the exam, print out your scores and give them to your supervisor.
