Students Advocating for Gender Awareness

Gender Equality is not a Privilege!

S.A.G.A. is working to educate the Oakland University campus about gender inequality and the minority status of women in contemporary cultures.  Our primary goal is to help students understand feminism and women's experiences through the lenses of ethnicity, race, class, women's health, sexual orientation, and gender identity.  While our programs will emphasize women's issues and feminist activism, we strive to integrate the perspectives of all genders.  We encourage students from all backgrounds to fight for gender equality and women's rights.
