Fitness Center Orientations
More than a tour!  A 50-minute orientation session is a great way to become familiar with the equipment available in the Fitness Center and how to incorporate it into personal workouts.  Staff will demonstrate proper use of equipment.  Education on proper form and muscle group balance will also be included.  Orientations are available on a drop-in basis.  Participants should ask the Fitness Attendant on duty for an orientation.  Please wear workout shoes and comfortable workout clothing.  FREE

Body Composition Testing
Offered on the first Monday of the month
Summer:  May 6, June 3, July 1, August 5
8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
12 noon-2:00 p.m.
4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

No appointment necessary.  Drop in between the times listed above.  Cost is $5 for students, $10 for non-students, payable at the Rec Center Welcome Center.  Testing includes a print-out of results.

Know Your Numbers
Knowing your numbers is essential in managing your own personal health and fitness.  The fitness staff from Campus Recreation will be out-an-about on campus with opportunities for you to get your numbers and learn about your health.

TGIF (Teens Getting Into Fitness)

Designed for 14 and 15 year old teens who want to use the Fitness Center.  Teens will learn to safely and properly use the exercise equipment.  Once the TGIF program is complete the teen will receive a card to bring with them every time they use the Fitness Center.  The Fitness Assistant on duty will ask to see their completion card.  Parents/guardians must remain in the Fitness Center with the child during all workouts.  Call (248) 370-4911 to register for this program.
