Personal Training
Looking for extra motivation or want to take your workout to the next level?  Try working with a personal trainer!  Our certified personal trainers can help you meet your health and fitness goals and make exercise a part of your daily life.

We offer many options within the personal training program so you can find something to fit your exercise needs.  In addition to personal training, fitness assessments, Fitness Center educational programs, and TOPS are opportunities to advance personal fitness goals and enhance individual well-being.

Important Information
  • Personal training packages are available for Rec Center members only.
  • Packages depend on which program you choose to purchase. 
  • Please see each program detailed below.
  • Personal training session are held in 1-hour increments.
  • No-call, no-show appointments will be charged for the entire session.
  • Appointments that are cancelled at the last minute will be issued one warning. 
  • After one occurrence, any cancellations at the last minute will be charged for the session.
  • The initial package purchased includes a fitness assessment.  (All paperwork and testing must be completed prior tot he start of the first training session.)
  • Each additional assessment is $10 for students, $15 for non-student members.
  • Packages and sessions purchased expire one year from the date of purchase.
  • Swim stroke analysis is available on a limited basis.  Higher fees apply to swim stroke analysis packages.

Individual Training Sessions
Working one-on-one with a certified personal trainer can make all the difference in your ability to reach your exercise goals.  The accountability, motivation and education that a personal trainer will provide is a valuable tool in improving your overall health and wellness.  Packages must be purchased in a minimum of 3 sessions.

Buddy Training
The Buddy Program allows you and a friend to work out together while a personal trainer leads you in exercises and helps to ensure perfect form and technique.  You get the benefit of a training partner and personal trainer at a discounted price.  If one buddy is missing during a session the session is still counted.

Pilates Reformer Personal Training
Utilizing the Allegro Reformer, a Pilates trainer will take you through exercises that are specifically designed to strengthen your core as well as focus on the development of stability and muscular balance.

Students  $100 
Non-Student Members $125

Group Personal Training
The Group Personal Training program is designed for individuals who would like to hire a personal trainer but cannot afford he cost of individual sessions.  Group Personal Training will meet twice weekly for five weeks.  Three 5-week long training blocks are available in one semester.  A minimum of 4 participants must be registered in order for the sessions to run.
