The ESL Center offers the following online courses. Students who enroll for an online course will not be required to come to campus. These are ideal courses for students who are living in another country or students who would like the flexibility an online class offers. Students will use various types of technology and should make sure their computer meets certain technical requirements before enrolling in the course. These courses are taught by native speakers of English and all communication will be in English only.
ESL 0670N (non-credit) / ESL 067 (credit) : ST: Intermediate & Advanced Grammar
- This course is offered each semester
- Designed to help students improve their grammar for writing as well as speaking. Students will be taught a variety of grammatical structures some of which will be individualized based upon a diagnostic test given during the first week of the course.
- Prerequisite: Placement

ESL 0720N (non-credit) / ESL 072 (credit): Writing and Sentence Structure for Academic Purposes III
- This course is offered only online during Summer I and Summer II semesters. (Each course is 7 weeks long.)
- Designed to help students improve their writing skills. Combines extensive practice in rhetorical techniques with a review of grammatical structures.
- Prerequisite: Placement
- Instructor signature required
