Thomas M. Suda,
Special Instructor of Theatre, received his BFA and MFA in Acting from Wayne State University.

Professor Suda has more than 25 years of experience in acting, directing, producing and arts administration.

He has taught at the Attic Conservatory Theatre, University of Detroit and Wayne State University, where he received his MFA while performing as a member of the Hillberry Repertory Theatre Company. Other acting credits include off-Broadway, regional and metro Detroit area stages. He was the first recipient of the Detroit Free Press James Kisicki Award for Ensemble Acting and created the role of Tony Whitcomb in the long-running Gem Theatre production of "Shear Madness."

He has appeared in concert with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and his on-camera work includes television commercials and industrial films, as well as numerous voice-overs. His union affiliations include AEA, AFTRA, SAG and AGVA.
