Scholarship Information

Oakland University offers Academic Merit Award Scholarshops to incoming freshman based on their academic record, including GPA and ACT composite score at the time of admission. Incoming freshman will automatically be considered for scholarships if they apply to the university by the deadline. For up-to-date information about the application deadline and other details, please visit the undergraduate admissions office scholarship web page. 

In addition, the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance offers scholarships based on admission auditions. Students who audition for Fall admission in February or March are automatically considered for departmental scholarships. There is no need to file a separate scholarship application.
