After applying for admission to the university you can download and fill out an application for an audition in your chosen major — music, theatre or dance. You do not need to wait for an acceptance letter from the university. Your request for an audition is your application to the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance.

All the information you need to submit your MTD admission/audition application should be available at the links below, but if you have questions regarding this process you can call the department at (248) 370-2030 or email mtd@oakland.edu.

The process is simple! Read the instructions, fill out the correct form, return it along with your performance resume, and we will acknowledge receipt of your application. If you have not received confirmation at least two weeks prior to the date you have selected please, contact the MTD office immediately. The audition schedule is usually closed one week the before the audition date.
