There are a number of student organizations in the SBA, including organizations for particular majors. We also have a chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi, the professional business fraternity. Because recruiters look at the total student [academic performance and extra-curricular participation and leadership] when making a hiring decision, the SBA recommends that all students consider joining a student organization. The student groups are also a good way to get more involved in the SBA, begin networking activities, and learn about your career.
