This note contains the instructions for researchers who will present in the OU Beaumont Biomedical Research Symposium.  

1. A drafted program schedule is attached. Please email miao@oakland.edu if you have a conflict with your time of presentation resulted from other high priority activities. We’d need to finalize the program schedule by next Wednesday, January 19, 2011.

2. Presentation should be presented in MS Office 2003 or 2007 Power Point. Email your presentation Power Point material to miao@oakland.edu by January 26, 2011.

3. Please fill out attached Presentation Technology Checklist and email to miao@oakland.edu by January 26, 2011.

For any changes made after submitting the checklist, they should be notified to miao@oakland.edu. Late changes may not be able to accommodate due to time constraints

4. The presentation is 12 minutes and 3 minutes for Q&A. A time keeper will raise a 2-minute warning sign. When the stop sign is raised, the presentation should be terminated immediately.

5. A tentative rehearsal time has been set on Tuesday, Feb 15, 2011 from 12pm to 4pm. We will email you to remind or confirm the rehearsal time.

6. A quick “how to use wireless mouse” instruction will be provided at presenter’s check-in table on the event day.
