Apple has changed it's Higher Education website to
ecommerce.apple.com and everyone must re-register again before being able to create quotes. To re-register go to
Access for New Apple Website and follow the instructions.
For any problems updating your profile, please call 1-800-800-2775 option 6 to talk to an Apple Website Representative who can guide you through the process. Once you have re-registered, you can now go to
ecommerce.apple.com and create a proposal, signing in with your email and password that you just registered. Equotes now will not begin with a W but will start with either 22 or 23. YOU ONLY NEED TO FOLLOW THIS PROCESS ONCE. ONCE YOU ARE RE-REGISTERED, YOU WOULD JUST GO TO THE APPLE EDUCATION STORE EVERY TIME AT
ECOMMERCE.APPLE.COM AND SIGN IN WITH YOUR EMAIL AND PASSWORD.
If you are still having issues and need a quote, email Suzanne Whitlow at
whitlow@apple.com with the specifications of your order and she will send you an equote. If you need to talk to Suzanne, her phone number is (800) 800-2775 x. 46767. After getting the equote, you can then proceed to process your requisition.
If you would like to purchase your Apple order with a PCard, you can call 1-800-800-2775 and Press Option 5. Make sure you inform the customer service rep that Oakland University is tax exempt and we do not pay for shipping. The customer rep will take all your information and provide you with a sales order number.
NOTE: SOFTWARE CANNOT BE PURCHASED ON A PCARD. YOU CAN PURCHASE SOFTWARE EITHER ON A PURCHASE ORDER (PO) OR A SMALL PURCHASE ORDER (SOP). EITHER WAY YOU PURCHASE, YOU MUST ALWAYS SUBMIT A SOFTWARE & HOSTED SOLUTION PURCHASING CHECKLIST TO GET APPROVAL FROM UTS BEFORE PURCHASING. BY SUBMITTING THIS FORM, A TICKET WILL BE GENERATED TO THE HELPDESK.
