Open House

MALS open house is held as an opportunity for current students to meet prospective students and share with them their experiences while in the MALS program and Oakland University.


Some past open houses include the MALS open house of September 16, 2005 hosted by Professor Natalie Cole, MALS Director.




At the annual Winter 2006 open house MALS faculty presented information on their upcoming courses for the 2006-2007 school year.  MALS students were able to meet with faculty and ask questions about these courses.  Professor Machmut-Jhashi also presented highlights from the Winter 2006 trip to Moscow.

   MALS student and future Graduate Assistant Angela Kayi talks to Professor Andrea Eis, who attended the open house to present on her Winter 2007 course, LBS 500: "Athena's Acropolis and Apollo's Delphi: Mythology and the Architectural Design of Greek Sacred Spaces."
   Professors Mike Sevilla, Department of Biological Sciences and Charles Mabee, Religious Studies concentration talk to a prospective MALS student about their course, LBS 504: "The Nuclear Age."
