Research Interests
Trained as a clinical and community psychologist, I combine clinical and research skills in studying factors amenable to comprehensive health behavior interventions aimed at reducing risk practices associated with sexually transmitted diseases. To that end, I focus primarily on the measurement of sexual behaviors, as well as the decision making process and the relationship context associated with sexual and contraceptive behaviors. In addition, I view preventive interventions as essential in promoting adolescents’ ability to lead healthy lives.
