Going Lean for Schools Fall 2010
OU's Shannon Flumerfelt hopes to put more public schools on a Lean diet, but what she has in mind doesn't involve calorie counting. Flumerfelt is working to introduce schools to Lean thinking - a practice common in manufacturing - so that they can learn to do more with less.
