The Oakland University Educational Resources Lab (ERL) in Pawley Hall and the Macomb-OU INCubator (MAC INC) in Sterling Heights are both home to a collection of books about Lean, which are available to students and the community.

The Pawley Institute Lean Collection has a variety of resources on Lean in the manufacturing, health care and service industries. A couple popular books include The Toyota Way by Jeffrey Liker and The Machine that Changed the World by James Womack, Daniel Jones and Daniel Roos.

Also, as part of his Pawley Institute Fellowship project, OU Professor Gene Fliedner donated his new book, Leading and Managing the Lean Management Process, to the Pawley Institute Collection at the ERL and to OU's Kresge Library, which holds more books about Lean.
