OUTV’s production facility is comprised of a studio, studio control and two Avid edit suites. This facility was opened for the first time in the Fall of 2000.
Studio Control
Studio Control is the nerve center for all studio productions. Crew positions in studio control include Director, Assistant Director, Technical Director, VTR Operator, Graphics Operator, Audio Operator, and Teleprompter Operator.

Edit Suites
OUTV’s two Avid non-linear editing suites are equipped identically with Avid Express Elite software, After Effects Production Bundle, Media Cleaner Pro, a Mackie audio mixer as well as a DVCPro and S-VHS decks. Both suites share an audio booth and can send and receive SDI feeds to and from studio control.
