Biography
Jacqueline S. Drouin is an Associate Professor in the Physical Therapy Program at Oakland University and the Coordinator of Post-Professional and Graduate Physical Therapy Research. Dr. Drouin has clinical experience in cardiac rehabilitation, acute care, pediatrics, orthopedics, and health and wellness. Dr. Drouin is an award winning teacher, researcher, and writer. Her research focus is on exercise training in special populations with a focus in oncology rehabilitation. Dr. Drouin is active in the American Physical Therapy Association and has served as an Oncology Section Board member, a liaison to the National Student Conclave, a manuscript review for professional journals, an item writer for the Federation of State Boards for Physical Therapy, and currently is liaison from the Oncology Section to World Confederation for Physical Therapy. In the community, Dr. Drouin established a soccer league for special needs children in Southeastern Michigan and subsequently received a ‘Special Tribute’ from the State of Michigan. She has also established sports injury prevention training programs for elite high school soccer players.
