Classroom Support & Instructional Technical Services (CSITS) and the Kresge Library are pleased to announce that on August 23, 2004, all video titles (i.e., VHS, DVD and laser discs) were moved to Kresge Library. Faculty may reserve these materials by contacting the Library Circulation Desk by phone ( Ext. 4425) or by e-mail (circ@lists.oakland.edu). Materials may be picked up at the Circulation Desk.
Video Viewing Rooms: Kresge Library offers the opportunity for students to view videos housed in the OU collection. Students wishing to view an Oakland University-owned video may use one of the viewing rooms on the third floor in Kresge Library.
Stop at the Kresge Library circulation desk to check out the desired video title. Once in the room you will be able to view the title using the monitor and VHS/DVD equipment.
KL viewing room walk-ins are accepted, however, reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the Kresge Library Circulation desk at x4425.
Locating OU-Owned Videotape, Laserdisc and DVD titles
- Video titles are integrated into the Kresge Library online Voyager Library Catalog. To locate video titles only, use the Advanced Search feature and type ‘videorecording’ in the search box.
The Oakland University video title collection is available for viewing free of charge to all OU faculty and staff.
