Submit Your Career Story
Thank you for your willingness to share your career story with us by filling out the form below. Because we're English majors, we think narrative accounts are most effective and useful. We would appreciate it if you would address the following:
Why did you choose English as your major?
How did you arrive at your current position and how has your degree in English helped you?
In what ways does your background in literary studies benefit you in your current career?
What would advice would you offer to current or prospective English majors?
You are welcome, of course, to add anything else that you believe might be of use to English majors reading your story. Please note that all submissions will be subject to review before being posted online. In addition, we would love to include a picture of you with your story. If possible, you may include a link to a picture or attach one to an email and send it to the Career Stories Editor. If you prefer, you may also submit your story via email.
Thank you for sharing your story! You can read others' stories here.
