Membership Eligibility
OU’s Recreation Center is not a public facility. An affiliation with OU is required to purchase a membership, guest pass or mini-pass. For those who are not affiliated with OU, an affiliation can be obtained through Friends of OU programs or MSU Federal Credit Union membership. For more information, contact the Rec Center at (248) 370-4732 or rec@oakland.edu.

Enrolled Students
Students enrolled in at least one on-campus course also are members of the Rec Center for each term they are enrolled because they are automatically billed the Rec Center fee, which is a mandatory fee that students pay along with their tuition.

Spouses/Significant Others
Currently enrolled or continuing students, employees, retirees, OUAA members, alumni, and other affiliated members may add a spouse or significant other to their Rec Center membership. Proof of this relationship is required.

If the eligible affiliate chooses not to purchase a Rec Center membership, the spouse or significant other may purchase one at the highest rate charged for that affiliated group.
