Meet the RHA Eboard

  Katie Bumhoffer, President

My name is Katie Bumhoffer, and I am a junior majoring in communications along with a Chinese minor. I grew up in the small town of Elkton, Michigan, which is why I appreciate the close-knit community at Oakland University so much. You can find me all over campus enjoying the many resources and activities Oakland has to offer - and I encourage you to do the same. Meeting new people is something I love to do most, so don't be afraid to say hi!

Blake Williams, Vice President of Programming

Hello my name is Blake Williams and I am from Brighton, Michigan. I am a junior majoring in political science. I live in East Vandenberg Hall. My favorite thing about OU is the student involvement and leadership opportunities along with the environment that the residence halls provide.  I like to play sports and Euchre, listen to music, watch movies, and get involved on and off campus.

Jackie Duc, Vice President of Finance

Hey, everybody! My name is Jackie Duc (pronounced Duke :) not Duck) and I grew up in Eastpointe, Michigan. This year I am a sophomore at OU and I am pursuing a major in psychology with a pre-med concentration and potentially a Spanish minor. My goal is to go to med school and specialize in psychiatry so that one day, I will be able to open my own practice. I love being a student at OU and I truly believe that living on campus is one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love to read, watch movies, play Euchre, and pretty much just be a dork with my friends. My favorite places to spend time at OU are in the Rec, in a hammock, and at the OC with my friends and I hope to see you around campus, too!

Taylor Williams, Secretary

My name is Taylor Williams and I am a sophomore here at Oakland University. I am currently a political science major but I plan on changing that to criminal justice. I am in school in hopes of one day becoming a defense attorney and eventually owning my own firm. I live in West Vandenberg and I love everything about Oakland and the surrounding community

Antonio McKoy, Multicultural and Diversity Coordinator

What's up, OU? My name is Antonio McKoy, but people on campus call me Tone. I'm a sophomore majoring in history and minoring in sociology with the aspiration of becoming a high school teacher. Aside from academics, I love to listen and play music, keyboard, and I love to watch nerdy sitcoms like Community and Big Bang Theory. I can also be a bookworm. Being at OU has opened my eyes to diversity in so many ways. I have met new people of different culture, mentality, and unique style in all aspects. Diversity and Multiculturalism gives students an experience that helps them become conscience of others and themselves. As RHA coordinator I plan to do my best in presenting to you with that knowledge, unity, and friendships that can last a lifetime, as long as you keep an open mind. My door is always open.

Franklin Kennamer, Entertainment Coordinator

Well, hello!  I am known as Franklin Kennamer and I hail from Bad Axe, Michigan.  I’m a junior majoring in Communication and minoring in History.  This year, I will be residing in East Vandenberg, but I won’t tell you which floor.  My favorite part of Oakland is the warm, fuzzy feeling I get from being included in such an amazing community.  The people here are so friendly and it gives me an excuse to be friendly back.  Some fun facts about myself: I appreciate the smell of leather and I was never picked last in gym class.

Kate Bergel, Domestic and National Communications Coordinator

My name is Kate Bergel. I am a sophomore majoring in pre-medical laboratory science, which will prepare me for my aspired career as an orthopedic surgeon. This year, as the National and Domestic Communication Coordinator, I will be representing Oakland University's residents at conferences across the US. I absolutely love life at OU! There's always something fun to get involved in and RHA opened so many opportunities for me on campus. My favorite thing last year was definitely being involved in Grizzposé. Hopefully we can make it an even bigger success this year! Outside of school I absolutely adore horseback riding, whether it's for the OU Equestrian team or my own Dressage competitions, it is my life! My one piece of advice to every student: GET INVOLVED!

Rachel Crowe, Publicity Coordinator

My name is Rachel Crowe. I am from West Bloomfield Michigan and I am majoring in social work. I have grown up around Oakland and I love the friendly atmosphere. My favorite thing about Oakland is how many people are willing to help out at any time. I am living in Fitzgerald House.
