This seven-story, twin-towered hall houses 540 students in suite-style living arrangements where two double rooms share a private bathroom. Both new and returning students may live here.

West Vandenberg Hall is the home of the Honors College, which offers expanded opportunities for academic-related activities and especially provides more student interaction with faculty and staff outside the classroom. This program is available to new students who have been awarded merit scholarships, including student life and university scholarships. Returning students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Eligibility for this program is sought in conjunction with the Honors College.

Hall Features
Each floor of Vandenberg Hall has its own lounge and study areas. The hall also has a reception desk that is staffed during the day, complete laundry facilities, vending machines, microwave ovens, and houses the residence hall dining room. Nightwatch staff members maintain a safe environment in the evening.

Room Specifications
Each room in Vandenberg Hall is 11’ 2” X 12’ 3”. Rooms on the second floor have a ceiling height of 7 feet, on the seventh floor it is 9 feet and on all other floors it is 8 feet. These specifications will help if you want to build a loft for this hall. Note that all residence hall bedsprings are 7’ X 36”.
