RESEARCH INTEREST

  • Control systems, estimation theory, systems identification;
  • Robotics, intelligent systems, complex autonomous systems, unmanned ground vehicles, unmanned underwater vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles;
  • Automotive systems, advanced defense systems, digital signal and image processing, and time series analysis.

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE & ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Publications consist of over 260 journal articles, conference papers, and technical reports;
  • A solid record of major R&D funding from a diverse source of sponsorships in the United States, Canada, and Asia;
  • Completed numerous R&D projects with an average annual funding level being among the top in all the engineering schools in the United States and Canada.
