RESEARCH INTEREST
- Control systems, estimation theory, systems identification;
- Robotics, intelligent systems, complex autonomous systems, unmanned ground vehicles, unmanned underwater vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles;
- Automotive systems, advanced defense systems, digital signal and image processing, and time series analysis.
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Publications consist of over 260 journal articles, conference papers, and technical reports;
- A solid record of major R&D funding from a diverse source of sponsorships in the United States, Canada, and Asia;
- Completed numerous R&D projects with an average annual funding level being among the top in all the engineering schools in the United States and Canada.

An experienced engineering consultant of international repute serving numerous corporations and government agencies and organizations; major projects completed to-date include: industrial R&D, technology transfer, planning and establishment of R&D centers and technology parks (U.S. and Asia).
