INDUSTRY AND GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE
Electrical Engineer. General Engineering Laboratory, General Electric Co., Schenectady, New York; worked in the development and testing of tunnel diode and parametric amplifiers. 1960.
Plasma Physicist. Microwave Physics Laboratory, Air Force Cambridge Research Laboratories, Bedford, Mass.; conducted research in wave-plasma interactions. Monitored government contracts in the field of plasma physics. 1963- 1966.
Optical Engineer. KMS Industries, Inc., Ann Arbor, Michigan; development work in the area of coherent optics and optical data processing. 1968.
Research Associate. NASA Johnson Spacecraft Center, Houston, Texas; developed optical and digital methods of processing multispectral data. 1972-1973.
Director of Research and Development. Industrial Holographics, Inc., Auburn Heights, Michigan. 1977-1978.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Developed and taught numerous new courses and laboratories at Oakland University including courses in computer programming, circuits and systems, computer organization and assembly language programming, wave phenomena, electromagnetic theory, numerical methods, microprocessors, coherent optics, pattern recognition, image processing, soft computing, digital logic using VHDL and Verilog, embedded systems, and introduction to electrical and computer engineering.
