Gary Pilibosian joined Microheat, Inc. in 2004 as president and CEO. Microheat is a Tier-1 supplier to the automotive industry, headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The company manufactures HotShot, the biggest breakthrough in washer/wiper technology in over 75 years. This patented hot washer fluid windshield clearing system removes snow, ice, road grime, insects, bird droppings and sticky pollen in less than 90 seconds with the push of a button.
Pilibosian was brought on board to take the company to the next level—transforming Microheat from a visionary research firm to a full-fledged Tier-1 supplier capable of providing systems directly to the automotive manufacturers around the world.
An engineer at heart, Pilibosian has built lean manufacturing operations in Microheat's Farmington Hills headquarters that run efficiently and produce an affordable product according to schedule. He oversees international manufacturing, as well as sales offices in Europe and Asia. The company employs 70 people in North America, and the number is growing.
Prior to taking the helm at Microheat, Pilibosian served in a number of key executive positions at Sanden International, Robotic Production Technology, and Dan T. Moore Company, as well as serving as an engineer at General Motors Corporation. He has an MBA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a MSME and BSME from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. Pilibosian is a member of Automation Alley, the Farmington Hills Chamber of Commerce and the President's Council at Oakland University.
