- One course chosen from:

- CIN 350 Topics in Film
- CIN 450 Advanced Topics in Film
- COM 303 Communication Theory
- COM 371 Forms and Effects of Mass Communication
- ENG 309 Adaptation: Fiction, Drama, Film
- MUS 334 History of Film Music
- SA 268 Video Art I
- SA 368 Video Art II
- CIN 450 Advanced Topics in Film OR CIN 499 Independent Study may be substituted for one of the courses listed above, with the permission of the Cinema Studies program director.
