
Executive MBA Program Overview
The Executive MBA (EMBA) is designed for professionals who are already engaged in successful careers and want to build a strong business foundation while enhancing their leadership and management skills. The program offers the schedule flexibility required for a full-time executive. Two program concentrations are available: Health Care Management or Information Systems Leadership. The cohort structure helps enhance the classroom dynamics, commitment to the program and resulting learning experience. This format also leverages the wealth of knowledge within each cohort group.
The program consists of 39 credit hours completed over 21 months. Courses are designed and taught by a combination of exceptional full-time faculty from Oakland University's School of Business Administration and successful business leaders. Classes meet on Friday afternoons and all day Saturday on alternate weekends. To facilitate rich interactions, class size is limited to 30 students.
