This paper reviews the vehicle modeling for the development of a low
energy active suspension system. Extensive experimental vehicle
measurments were made to validate the vehicle model. The simulation
results show the considerable reduction in forces and energy that result
from the use of the low energy active suspension compared to a generic
form of the active suspension.
