The goal of the Outreach Science Engineering Applied Learning (SEAL) program is to educate and inspire K-12 students, teachers, and the community at large in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and the various STEM career possibilities.
This is done by on-site and off-site lecture series, workshops, and commuter and residency STEM camps heavily focused on hands-on, student-centered, active-learning exercises. This effort is designed to serve our communities in order to provide future workers with skills that businesses are looking for and need to serve society at large. STEM-educated workers are in constant demand and more are needed than currently available.
