Planned Curriculum

The School of Medicine offers an innovative curriculum that threads the themes of the first and second years of medical school through the clinical years while engaging medical students in patient encounters from the start.  Learning basic sciences from master medical educators who specialize in medical student education, students will study in new facilities equipped with the latest educational technologies.

Students will learn the art and practice of medicine in one of the country’s premier health care delivery systems including
state-of-the art simulation center where medical teamwork is practiced and perfected.  Students will receive career guidance from the first day of medical school through small faculty-guided mentoring teams.  Allowing medical students to develop a niche in medicine, the curriculum includes a 4-year Capstone Project.
