Admission Process

Step One: AMCAS Application

The Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine participates with AMCAS - the American Medical College Application Service. To submit an application, visit AMCAS at www.aamc.org/students/amcas. This initial process includes using the AMCAS letters of recommendation service.

Step Two: Supplemental Application

Select applicants, scoring a 24 or higher on the MCAT, will be invited to submit a supplemental application. 

Step Three: Screening

The OUWB will complete a holistic review of your completed application materials to determine whether to invite you for an interview.

Step Four: Interview

Select applicants will be invited to attend an interview day.

Step Five: Admission Offers

Select applicants will be offered admission on a rolling basis.

Step Six: Acceptance and Deposit

Admitted students are asked to accept the offer within two weeks of admission. We will ask for the tuition deposit in the spring.
