Become a Student Ambassador

Admissions ambassadors are student leaders who provide facts and knowledge about the university to prospective students and their parents. Admissions ambassadors give daily campus tours and participate in student panels at various recruitment events such as Go for the Gold, Discover OU, Saturday Tours, Transfer Student Open Houses and Welcome Receptions. Admissions ambassadors are not only trained and familiar with programs and services offered at Oakland, they also possess great leadership skills and serve as role models for prospective students. 

When to apply to be an admissions ambassador: 

  • Fall semester — by March 1
  • Winter semester — by October 1
